PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Our Living Well Project explores opportunities to leverage technology and renewable energy to promote access to affordable healthcare and other holistic interventions to ensure the healthy living and improved quality of life for patients suffering from chronic kidney disease. Volunteer support would be much appreciated in the following areas: Refining our business model and end-to-end process review to understand better the technology, architecture, and other requirements needed to support the project and fundraising strategies.
Project Objectives
- Deliver hemodialysis treatments in patients' homes and other strategic locations within various underserved/target communities. The treatments would be delivered via mobile dialysis & diagnostic centers powered and sustained by renewable energy.
- Provide access to holistic interventions to help alleviate patient and caregiver fatigue & stress management
- Access to self-care and mental health management interventions delivered through provider partnerships and networks with Silvercross Healthcare.
