PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Fundappas es una escuela uruguaya que entrena, sociabiliza y entrega, de manera totalmente gratuita, perros guía a las personas con discapacidad visual y perros de asistencia a familias con niños con Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA). Ser socializador/a significa una gran responsabilidad y una gran satisfacción. Implica convivir con el perro durante meses, enseñándole obediencia básica, buenos hábitos, dándole cariño y ayudándolo a generar un vínculo de confianza. El proyecto requiere ir al trabajo, a la facultad, al cine, al bar, al restaurante, al supermercado, de compras, etc. siempre en compañía del cachorro, para hacerles experimentar la mayor cantidad de experiencias humanas posibles. De esta socialización depende el éxito en su desempeño como futuro perro guía.
Project Objectives
- Recibir un cachorro en tu casa durante un año.
- Cuidar de su salud bienestar y alimentación (Provista por la ONG)
- Llevar el cachorro contigo a todas partes (trabajo, shopping, visitas, paseos, educación)
- Asistir a la escuela de Fundappas en las fechas previstas para la instrucción.
- Entregar al cachorro a Fundappas luego de transcurrido el año.
